A feature length piece oscillating between humour and poignant questions that strike it right into the hearts of those trying to make the public laugh from the stage. Choreographer Václav Kuneš sought inspiration with big names of stand-up comedy, among them the legendary Robin Williams. Top quality dance meets gags that border on our comfort zone. Original music was composed by the exceptional Canadian Owen Belton. In 2016, the original cast made purely of dancers got bigger with one role for an actress/actor, ideally a local. In the Czech Republic, the role has been taken up by Chantal Poullain, an actress and singer of French origins.
The piece was produced by 420PEOPLE in co-production with the New Stage of the National Theatre and Four Days association and supported by Fondation BNP Paribas, The Ministry of Culture of the Czech Republic, The City of Prague, the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, Embassy of Canada, The Czech State Fund for Culture and the Town Brewery in Havlíčkův Brod.
