About the author
Václav Kuneš started to work as a freelancer in 2004 after 11 years with the NDT. Before establishing the dance company 420PEOPLE together with Nataša Novotná in 2008 in Prague, he worked as a dancer and choreographer around the world. The first piece for 420PEOPLE, Small hour, gained many awards and nominations and remained on the repertory ever since. Other works include Golden Crock, REEN, Wind-up, May, Mirage, Inferno – Variations on Dante and the most recent Paradiso.
Seven years after the first show in Prague, 420PEOPLE are an established and sought after label both in the Czech Republic and abroad. To the Czech public they have mediated the work of important names of the international scene, from Kylián to Naharin, from Teshigawara to Van den Broek. The focal point of the company’s activities remains the original creation of the founding tandem Václav Kuneš and Nataša Novotná, artists insisting on exceptional level of dance interpretation and professionalism.

The piece is produced by 420PEOPLE z.s. in co-operation with Jatka78, the National Theatre in Prague and the festival Montpellier Danse within a residency offered at Agora, cité internationale de la danse.
