Images from the life of Olga Havlová, which she didn’t chose herself, but proudly claimed as her own. Playwright Anna Saavedra, author of the play Secret Message from the Planet of Mothers, written as part of Theatre LETÍ’s residency programme and currently in its fourth successful season with Brno’s HaDivdlo, now turns her attention to Olga Havlová, former first lady of dissent and first lady of this country.

About the Company

Theatre LETÍ is an independent theatre group that thrives on a passion for new plays. We stage all dramatic texts in either Czech or world premieres. Our aim is to publicise contemporary developments in drama with a specific focus on European plays. We believe that our theatre is an open platform that freely unites all artists who thrive on a “passion for new plays.” Theatre LETÍ was established in 2005. Since then, LETÍ has produced over 60 plays by various contemporary playwrights (either in the form of full productions or staged readings) on various Prague stages, including Divadlo pod Palmovkou, Švandovo divadlo and others. Since October 2015 Theatre LETÍ has been based at Prague’s VILA Štvanice.
