Lucie Labajová

Stage and costume designer

Lucie Labajová is a distinctive Czech stage and costume designer. Her work has been often done in association with director Anna Petrželková, like in the Petr Bezruč Theatre in Ostrava. Her joint work is represented by the highly regarded production of Froth on the Daydream (2015), in which Labajová participated as an author of scenographic design and worked with costume designer Eva Jiřikovská or a successful adaptation of Romeo and Juliet (2012). In both cases, the original, dreamy and functional scene became the focal point of the scenographic and dramaturgic concept, which provided the productions with an unforgettable visual expression.
