He started his career as a stagehand in the Těšín Theatre. After having graduated from DAMU, he and his classmates got an offer to leave for the Drama Studio in Ústí nad Labem, where he staged The Gamblers, for instance. He then moved to the Drama Club; Killer Joe, The Taming of the Shrew, meanwhile, he made several productions in the South Bohemian Theatre in České Budějovice The Beauty Queen of Leenane, The Merchant of Venice, Kerosene Lamps. He worked in the CD 94 theatre association and in 2002-2005, he worked in the Švandovo Theatre – he directed Money from Hitler, Jenůfa. He was the artistic director of drama at the F. X. Šalda Theatre in Liberec, since 2013, he has been working at the Pod Palmovkou Theatre. He has staged Othella, the adaptation of the novel The Kindly Ones and others. He also initiated the foundation of PALM-OFF FEST, the meeting of Central European theatres at Palmovka.

He graduated from DAMU, he is currently the director and art director of the Pod Palmovkou Theatre.
